On the reaction day the stock moved 3.0 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 3.2 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Mankind Pharma board approved investing up to EUR 45M more into its wholly owned Netherlands subsidiary (total EUR 50M) to fund acquisition of 70% stake in Armed Cell Therapeutics B.V. (ACTx), a Belgium biotech, for EUR 48M in cash. ACTx develops next-generation CAR-T therapies for cancer, with lead programs in non-Hodgkin lymphoma and small cell lung cancer. Founders include former Galapagos and Johnson & Johnson executives.
Strategic move into innovation-led biotech and cell therapy space, outside core pharma. Could boost long-term growth narrative; execution and pipeline risks remain.
