Marsons Limited announced intent to form a joint venture with Cleanhill Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, to scale power transformer distribution, service, and manufacturing in the US and Canada. Marsons, a 70-year-old EHV transformer maker with 12,000 MVA capacity expanding to 26,000 MVA, is already executing orders for major US renewable and utility projects. Longer-term goal includes full-scale North American manufacturing to serve grid, utility, and data center demand.
Opens Marsons to the large North American market via a strategic PE partnership, though subject to execution of the definitive JV agreement.
