Maruti Suzuki reported its highest ever monthly sales at 236,963 units in January 2026, up from 212,251 units in January 2025. Domestic sales were 178,300 units while exports hit an all-time monthly high of 51,020 units. Utility vehicles (Brezza, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Victoris, etc.) rose to 75,609 units from 65,093. Cumulative FY 2025-26 sales reached 1,983,467 units versus 1,841,882 units in the same period last year.
Record domestic volumes and a sharp jump in exports point to strong demand and improving overseas momentum, positive for sentiment.
