Master Trust Limited's wholly owned subsidiary Master Capital Services Limited has received in-principle approval from SEBI on November 11, 2025, to sponsor and set up a Mutual Fund. The subsidiary will now form an Asset Management Company and a Trustee Company under SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations, 1996. Final registration approval is subject to meeting SEBI's stipulated requirements. The original application was filed on July 1, 2025.
Positive for shareholders. Entry into the mutual fund business opens a new recurring revenue stream and broadens the financial services footprint.
