Meghmani Organics' wholly owned subsidiary, Meghmani Crop Nutrition Ltd (MCNL), has received approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to manufacture nano fertilizer products — Nano DAP, Nano NPK and Nano Zinc. The products will be produced at the existing Sanand manufacturing facility in Gujarat with no additional capital expenditure required. Commercial production is targeted to begin during the upcoming Kharif season this year. The company, already present in crop protection and pigments, is expanding into the nano fertilizer segment which it describes as representing the future of sustainable agriculture with improved nutrient uptake and reduced wastage.
The approval gives Meghmani a new growth avenue in the crop nutrition space without requiring fresh capital investment, positioning the company to tap into the growing demand for next-generation fertilizers in India ahead of the Kharif season.
