SEBI has approved Monarch Networth Capital's application to act as Sponsor for a mutual fund called 'Monarch Mutual Fund.' Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Monarch Asset Management Pvt Ltd, has also received approval to act as the AMC. This adds a mutual fund vertical to the company's existing businesses spanning retail broking (3 lakh+ clients), institutional broking, AIFs (~₹1,000 crore AUM), and PMS. PAT has grown from ₹2 crore in FY19 to ₹135 crore in 9MFY25. The entry targets India's mutual fund industry where AUM has crossed ₹80 lakh crore.
Positive — opens a new, scalable revenue stream in India's fast-growing mutual fund industry, leveraging existing client base to drive long-term growth and platform value.
