MRPL has received authorization from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to lay, build, operate or expand an aviation turbine fuel (ATF) pipeline. The pipeline will connect Devangonthi to the Common User Fuel Farm Station and an upcoming Satellite Fuel Farm Station at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The project has a capacity of 2.5 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum and is to be completed within 36 months. The authorization comes from a domestic regulatory body (PNGRB), and the company has confirmed no related party transactions or promoter group interest in the awarding entity.
This regulatory authorization expands MRPL's presence in airport fuel infrastructure, potentially strengthening its revenue streams from aviation fuel supply. However, the impact on stock price remains limited as this is an infrastructure project rather than a large direct order with immediate financial implications.
