On the reaction day the stock moved 3.0 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.9 pts less than its Other Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

MTAR Technologies said the National Company Law Tribunal in Hyderabad sanctioned on 28 October 2026 the merger of Gee Pee Aerospace and Defence and Magnatar Aero Systems into MTAR, effective 1 April 2025. Both are wholly owned and will be dissolved without winding up. No new MTAR shares will be issued. Authorized capital rises from Rs 66 crore to Rs 66.85 crore. The company expects simpler operations and lower costs, though both merged units were loss-making.
No share dilution for existing holders. The merger simplifies MTAR's structure and may cut costs, but the loss-making units could weigh on earnings.
