On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.7 pts more than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Narayana Hrudayalaya's board approved a scheme to demerge subsidiary NH Integrated Care's Clinical Services business (10 Bengaluru clinics) into itself. Demerged turnover: Rs 39.94 crore (about 1.11% of FY25 standalone turnover). As NHIC is wholly-owned, no shares or cash change hands. Post-demerger, NHIC will focus on the Aarogyam preventive platform, while NHL folds clinics into its hospital network. Appointed date April 1, 2025. Awaits NCLT nod.
Pure internal restructuring with no share dilution, no cash outflow, and no change in promoter holding. Subject to NCLT approval.
