National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) has issued an addendum to its earlier intimation dated 30 December 2025 regarding road assets offered by NHAI for potential acquisition under Round-5. The original intimation had incorrectly stated the total length of two highway stretches — the 4-lane Amravati-Chikhali-Tarsod section of NH-53 in Maharashtra (256.7 Km) and the 6-lane Gundugolanu-Chinna Avutapalli-Vijayawada section of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh (54.38 Km) — as 696.37 Km. The corrected total length is 311.08 Km. All other details in the previous intimation remain unchanged. The Trust is considering acquiring these road assets from NHAI.
