National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) has informed the exchanges that NHAI has revised the list of road stretches identified for potential acquisition by the Trust under Round-5 of its Asset Monetization Plan for FY 2025-26. This follows the earlier intimation dated 26 June 2025. As per the revised list, two road stretches are now on offer: the 4-lane Amravati-Chikhali-Tarsod section of NH-53 in Maharashtra (696.37 km) and the 6-lane Gundugolanu-Chinna Avutapalli-Vijayawada section of NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh (54.38 km). The acquisition is still subject to further evaluation and approval by the management and board of the Investment Manager (NHIIMPL).
This is a preliminary update and not a confirmed acquisition yet — the revised project list is still subject to evaluation and Board approval. If the deal goes through, it would meaningfully expand NHIT's toll road portfolio, but until then, investors should treat it as a development-in-progress rather than a done deal.
