NDTV to acquire GoodTimes channel business from related party for up to Rs 18 crore

NDTV has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire the GoodTimes channel business undertaking from Lifestyle and Media Broadcasting Limited, a joint venture of NDTV (related party). Deal is at arm's length based on registered valuer's report. Consideration is up to Rs 18 crore cash plus TV advertising inventory on a cash-free debt-free basis. Completion subject to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting approval and other regulatory clearances. Expected to close in about 3 months. Aims to strengthen strategic positioning and expand broadcasting capabilities.
