Nestle India is acquiring a 26% stake in Radiance KA Sunshine Seven Pvt Ltd, a renewable energy subsidiary of Radiance Renewables, for about 7.61 crore rupees. The deal sets up a captive solar power plant at Koppal, Karnataka (17.5 MW AC capacity) to supply power to one of Nestle's factories. Funded through internal cash, no related party issues, expected completion within 30 days. Target turnover was 15.8 crore rupees in FY26.
Minority investment for captive renewable power. Supports sustainability goals but minimal financial impact on Nestle's bottom line.
