On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty 100 and 0.1 pts less than its Packaged Foods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Nestle India announced a new Maggi Noodles production line at its Sanand factory in Gujarat, adding 20,600 tonnes of annual capacity in FY2025-26. The estimated investment is ₹85 crore, funded through internal accruals. Current plant capacity is about 121,000 tonnes per annum, with roughly 80% utilisation.
The expansion supports future Maggi demand and should improve capacity, with limited financial risk because it is funded through internal accruals.
