NHPC has provided an update on its 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Out of the total 300 MW capacity, 214.28 MW has already been commissioned and is operational. The remaining balance capacity (~85.72 MW) was originally expected to be commissioned by August 31, 2025, but the timeline has now been pushed back by about a month, with the new target being September 30, 2025. This is a follow-up to NHPC's earlier communication dated June 30, 2025, filed under SEBI disclosure rules.
Minor delay of around one month in fully commissioning the solar project, but since nearly 71% of capacity is already generating revenue, the impact on earnings is limited.
