Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited held its Board meeting on April 27, 2026, approving multiple items. Financially, the company reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 693.34 crore for Q4 and Rs. 2,527.55 crore for FY2025-26, with profit after tax of Rs. 382.64 crore and Rs. 1,497.75 crore respectively. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 12.50 per share, making total dividend for FY2025-26 Rs. 21.50 per share. On the management front, Mr. Sundeep Sikka assumed office as MD & CEO for a fresh 5-year term from April 22, 2026. Mr. Kosuke Kuroishi resigned as Non-Executive Director (Nominee of promoter NLI) due to change in NLI management team, and Mr. Hironao Kunita was appointed as Additional Non-Executive Director in his place. Mr. Saugata Chatterjee was appointed as Deputy CEO from May 1, 2026. The Board also approved a new ESOS 2026 scheme (91,72,408 options pending shareholder approval) and grants under existing ESOP 2023 and PSU 2023 schemes.
The management changes are routine in nature, reflecting internal succession planning (Saugata Chatterjee as Deputy CEO, Mohit Shetty as CHRO) and promoter group transitions (Kuroishi out, Kunita in). The strong financial results with 22% YoY revenue growth and consistent dividend payout are positive signals for shareholders. The SEBI show cause notice on mutual fund investment compliance remains an outstanding regulatory matter.
