On the reaction day the stock moved 7.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 7.1 pts less than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Niyogin's board approved selling 58% of subsidiary Investdirect and all 45,076 compulsorily convertible preference shares, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. Price is up to Rs 11.75 crore, linked to performance milestones, with completion targeted by March 31, 2027. The buyer is Investdirect director Mohit Gang, who is not a promoter. Investdirect represented 12.11% of consolidated turnover. Niyogin will lose control after completion.
Sale may simplify the group and bring up to Rs 11.75 crore, but removes a 12.11% revenue contributor. Shareholder approval is pending.
