On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and in line with its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
NLC India signed agreements with Odisha's IPICOL to develop a proposed 3,200 MW coal plant, with potential investment of Rs 35,000 crore and about 4,000 jobs. The parties also plan a Rs 2,000 crore beach sand processing facility, expected to create 500 jobs, and will study coal gasification for fertilizer use.
The projects may support long-term growth, but they are early-stage plans; approvals, costs, timelines and returns remain uncertain.
