On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.6 pts less than its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
NLC India's wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables, won a Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam tender for grid-connected wind power. It received a letter of intent for 100 MW and accepted two additional 100 MW options, taking total awarded capacity to 300 MW. Project cost, tariff and completion timing were not disclosed.
The 300 MW award may support earnings and renewable growth, but undisclosed tariffs and project costs limit assessment of the financial impact.
