NTPC Green Energy's joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited has declared commercial operation at two step-down subsidiaries. Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited commissioned an additional 12.5 MW (taking its total to 100 MW out of a planned 150 MW solar project in Rajasthan). Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited commissioned an additional 50 MW (taking its total to 200 MW out of a planned 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan). Both expansions became effective from midnight on 15 May 2026. The group's total installed capacity will rise from 10,453.90 MW to 10,516.40 MW, an addition of 62.5 MW.
The commissioning of additional solar capacity in line with NTPC Green's renewable energy expansion strategy is a positive operational update, incrementally growing the group's generation base by 62.5 MW.
