NTPC Green Energy Limited has declared commercial operation of an additional 90 MW wind energy capacity at the Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-I in Bhuj, Gujarat, effective from 00:00 hrs on 9 April 2025. This is the second part of the 150 MW Phase-I project, being executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, as part of a larger 450 MW Hybrid Project. The first part of 50 MW was already declared on commercial operation in November 2023. With this commissioning, 140 MW of the 150 MW Phase-I capacity is now operational, with the remaining 10 MW yet to be commissioned.
