NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that the third and final 60 MW capacity of its 150 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project has begun commercial operation from 16 April 2025. The project is being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, and was awarded under the GUVNL 500 MW Solar Phase XII tender. The first 60 MW was commissioned in July 2024 and the second 30 MW in December 2024, meaning the entire 150 MW project is now fully operational. The commissioning was certified by Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
