NTPC Green Energy has announced commercial operation of 212.5 MW (fourth part) out of 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat, operated by its wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Limited under the CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III, effective 20 August 2025. Separately, 52.8 MW of wind capacity from a 100 MW hybrid project (92.4 MW wind + 37.5 MW solar) in Gujarat, owned by Ayana Renewable Power Four Pvt Ltd (a step-down subsidiary through the ONGC NTPC Green joint venture), has also been declared on commercial operation effective 21 August 2025. Together, this adds about 265 MW of new renewable capacity to the group's portfolio.
