NTPC has declared commercial operation of the second and final 78 MW part at Plot-1 of its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, completing the full 245 MW capacity. The project is part of a larger 3x245 MW solar park under the CPSU Scheme Phase II, Tranche III. With this, NTPC's total installed and commercial capacity rises to 60,783 MW on standalone basis and 85,259 MW on group basis, effective 18 Dec 2025.
Positive: incremental renewable capacity addition supports NTPC's clean energy expansion and may add to long term revenue from the solar segment.
