NTPC has successfully completed the trial operation of Unit-3 (660 MW capacity) of the Barh Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-1, which is a 3x660 MW project. Following this milestone, the unit has been added to NTPC's installed capacity. As a result, NTPC's total installed capacity now stands at 60,926 MW on a standalone basis and 82,028 MW on a group basis. This is part of NTPC's ongoing capacity expansion in thermal power generation.
