NTPC Limited has informed the Exchange about Completion of trial operation by 660 MW capacity unit of North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project

NTPC has successfully completed the trial operation of its 660 MW Unit-3 at the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (3 x 660 MW configuration). With this, the unit has been formally added to NTPC's installed capacity. NTPC's total installed capacity now stands at 60,266 MW on a standalone basis and 81,368 MW on a group basis. This marks another milestone in the commissioning of the North Karanpura project, which when fully operational will add 1,980 MW of thermal power capacity.
