This is part of the larger 450 MW Hybrid Project. The earlier two tranches — 50 MW and 90 MW — were already commissioned in November 2023 and April 2025 respectively. With this latest COD, the total installed and commercial capacity of the NTPC group has risen to 82,902 MW.
