NTPC has informed the exchange that its step-down subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has declared Commercial Operation Date (COD) for 270 MW out of the 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, effective 11th March 2026. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group rises to 88,544 MW and commercial capacity to 87,464 MW. The commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) group increases from 9,292.68 MW to 9,562.68 MW.
