NTPC Limited's subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) announced that a 158.4 MW portion of a 250 MW Solar PV project in Andhra Pradesh has been declared commercially operational from 14th February 2026. The project is owned by Ayana Kadapa Renewable Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary routed through ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (a joint venture of NTPC and ONGC). With this addition, the NTPC group's total installed capacity rises to 88,132 MW and commercial capacity to 87,052 MW. NTPC Green Energy Group's installed capacity has also increased to 9,151.08 MW, up from 8,992.68 MW previously. The remaining ~91.6 MW of the 250 MW project is expected to be commissioned later.
