NTPC has declared 167 MW out of 245 MW at Plot-1 of its Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan as commercially operational, effective from 00:00 hrs on 26.09.2025. The full Nokh Solar project is 3x245 MW (735 MW total), with this being the commissioning of the first plot under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III. With this addition, NTPC's total installed and commercial capacity rises to 60,705 MW on a standalone basis and 83,863 MW on a group basis. This is a greenfield solar capacity addition, not a restart or revival of an existing asset.
