ONGC confirmed a resource-sharing agreement with Reliance for offshore E&P infrastructure, enabled by the ORDA Act 2025. The company clarified that its recent share price rise is mainly due to a 10.5 percent increase in global crude oil prices from about USD 60 to USD 67 per barrel in 3 weeks. Peer companies Oil India and Hind Oil Exploration also rose 9.79 percent and 5.18 percent respectively. ONGC stated no undisclosed information explains the trading movement.
