Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
ONGC has invested ₹4 crore in total (₹2 crore each) to hold 50% stake in two new JVs with Japan's Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, named Bharat Ethane One and Bharat Ethane Two IFSC Private Ltd, registered at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. Each JV will own one Very Large Ethane Carrier (VLEC) sailing under the Indian flag to transport ethane from the USA to OPaL, ONGC's petrochemical subsidiary. Both JVs were incorporated in September 2025 with no business activity yet. DIPAM approval was obtained. The deal is in cash and is not a related party transaction.
Secures dedicated ethane shipping from USA to OPaL with a top Japanese partner. Small upfront cost of ₹4 cr; long-term logistics play. Marginally positive.
