Ola Electric launched the S1Z electric scooter range on Aug 28, 2026, in 3.1 kWh and 5.1 kWh variants priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 99,999 ex-showroom. It is India's first scooter range powered by Ola's in-house Bharat Cell LFP battery tech, offering up to 301 km IDC range. Deliveries begin Dec 2026 for the 3.1 kWh variant and March 2027 for the 5.1 kWh. The scooter runs MoveOS 5 and will be the first sold via dealer-operated stores.
Mass-market launch using in-house LFP cells could lift volumes and margins, but deliveries start late 2026, so revenue impact is back-end loaded.
