On the reaction day the stock moved 2.0 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 2.3 pts more than its 2/3 Wheelers peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Ola Electric has launched its first dealer-operated stores across seven states including Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar, Telangana, UP and Madhya Pradesh, within a month of opening its network to partners. The company targets 500+ dealerships over the next couple of quarters. This marks a shift from fully company-owned stores to a dealer-led model, after five years of direct sales. The S1Z range starts at about Rs 80,000. Existing company stores will transition into brand experience centres.
Strategic shift to dealer-led retail could widen reach and lift volumes, but introduces execution risk after five years of a direct sales model.
