Omax Autos announced its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results with revenue from operations of ₹9,963.65 lakhs, up about 18% from ₹8,420.18 lakhs in Q1 FY25; total income rose to ₹11,042 lakhs from ₹9,188 lakhs. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹2.5 per share (25%) for FY25, with record date set as August 22, 2025. Mr. Devashish Mehta resigned as CFO (effective July 24, 2025) but will continue as Managing Director; Mr. Sanjeev Kumar was appointed as the new CFO from July 25, 2025. Several directors were reappointed, and Mrs. Sakshi Kaura's designation was changed from Managing Director to Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director. Notably, the new CFO Mr. Sanjeev Kumar is the son of Vice Chairman & MD Mr. Jatender Kumar Mehta and brother of Director Mrs. Sakshi Kaura, indicating continued promoter family control of the company.
The strong Q1 revenue growth is a positive signal for the stock, and the ₹2.5 dividend provides a decent yield for shareholders. However, the appointment of a promoter family member (son of the Vice Chairman) as CFO, along with reshuffling of family roles at the board level, highlights concentrated family control which some investors may view as a governance concern.
