On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.6 pts more than its Financial Technology (Fintech) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Paytm has approved a Default Loss Guarantee of up to ₹90 crore each with lending partners Muthoot Fincorp and Kisetsu Saison Finance, on loans they disburse. The guarantee will be backed by Fixed Deposits or Bank Guarantee. Separately, Independent Director Ashit Ranjit Lilani has withdrawn consent for re-appointment, and his current five-year term will end on July 4, 2026 due to other professional commitments.
The ₹90 cr guarantee per lending partner exposes Paytm to potential loss on loan defaults, but stays within its existing loan model. Director exit is a non-event.
