Paytm completed the purchase of 90.01 percent of Foster Payment Networks for about INR 55.20 crore in cash, making Foster a subsidiary. It is buying the remaining 9.99 percent for about INR 6.20 crore, likely by December 31, 2025. Foster reported FY2024-25 income of INR 4.12 crore. The related-party deal is part of an internal group restructuring.
Foster is now part of Paytm, with possible efficiency gains, but the total expected cash cost is about INR 61.40 crore.
