Unaudited Q2 FY27 loan assets rose 68.4% year on year to Rs 9,317 crore and profit after tax doubled to Rs 125 crore; gross bad loans were 2.18%. Management raised FY27 loan asset growth guidance from over 40% to over 60%, expects credit costs to fall over 15% and targets return on equity above 20%. The loan-against-property business turned profitable and should grow 15% to 20% quarterly for two years, reaching about 2.5 times its size.
Strong growth, profit and loan quality are positive. The Rs 832 crore share issue may dilute equity, while funding costs remain a risk.
