Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom, has entered into a manufacturing agreement with ASRock Incorporation, one of the world's top four motherboard makers headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. Under this partnership, OEL will manufacture ASRock's enterprise and gaming desktop motherboards in India at its Noida facility, replacing current imports. Manufacturing has already commenced in April 2025, and the Made-in-India motherboards will be available in the domestic market from May 2025 onwards. This expands OEL's product portfolio in the IT hardware segment and aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India initiatives. The deal leverages OEL's advanced capabilities in complex PCB assembly, including BGA and fine-pitch assembly, suited for AI motherboards and high-end desktops.
Positive for shareholders — the partnership adds a new revenue stream in the IT hardware segment, brings in a globally recognized brand, and supports the company's push into high-value electronics manufacturing. Could lift sentiment around the stock as it diversifies beyond existing product lines.
