Organic Recycling Systems Ltd (ORSL) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Solapur Bioenergy Systems Pvt Ltd, has secured an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for a 200 tonnes per day (TPD) paddy straw-based Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The scope covers end-to-end O&M services including plant uptime, safety, daily operations, preventive maintenance, and manpower. The project is part of IOCL's green energy push and aligns with the Government of India's SATAT initiative aimed at clean fuel and reducing stubble burning. ORSL currently operates a total processing capacity of 400 TPD across its facilities, with 50% utilization, suggesting this contract meaningfully expands its operational footprint.
