On the reaction day the stock moved 1.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.6 pts less than its Power Generation peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Orient Green Power commissioned a 7 MW AC solar project in Tamil Nadu through its subsidiary Delta Renewable Energy, marking its first entry into solar beyond its existing wind power business. The project is part of a 25 MW AC solar initiative funded via a Rights Issue. Another 18 MW capacity is still in land acquisition. Power will be supplied to captive shareholders under the Group Captive Model.
Marks strategic diversification into solar energy, complementing existing wind portfolio. Positive for long-term revenue stability.
