Paisalo Digital Limited has signed a Co-Lending Loan Agreement with State Bank of India (SBI) for SME products, formalised on June 26, 2025. This is an extension of the existing SBI–Paisalo co-lending digital platform that has been operational since 2021 and is aligned with the RBI's November 2020 co-lending guidelines. Under the arrangement, both SBI and Paisalo will jointly fund SME loans to expand credit access for small businesses, especially in tier 2, tier 3 cities and rural markets. The company highlighted that its existing co-lending platform has already served over 94 lakh customers through 3,565 touchpoints. Paisalo is a systemically important non-deposit-taking NBFC.
Positive for shareholders — this strengthens Paisalo's partnership with India's largest public sector bank, expanding its SME lending footprint and reinforcing its co-lending business model. The tie-up supports growth in priority sector lending, which could drive higher loan disbursements and revenue over time.
