Paradeep Parivahan secured a 10-year contract with JSW Group to deploy and operate 100 electric trucks supplied by JSW Greentech on a 330 km one-way Nandyal-to-Vijayanagar corridor. The trucks are expected to move about 125,000 metric tonnes of clinker and slag monthly. PPL says its transport fleet will grow about threefold versus the prior year. The deployment could save 4.75 million litres of diesel and avoid 14,256 tonnes of direct carbon dioxide emissions annually, subject to usage and operating conditions.
The 10-year order expands PPL's fleet and cargo reach and may support growth, but contract value, investment needs and earnings impact were not disclosed.
