On the reaction day the stock moved 13.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 14.9 pts more than its Dairy Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Parag Milk Foods will merge wholly owned Bhagyalaxmi Dairy Farms into the parent, subject to NCLT, shareholder, creditor and regulatory approvals. Bhagyalaxmi's shares will be cancelled, with no new shares or cash paid, so Parag's shareholding pattern stays unchanged. Q2 FY27 consolidated revenue was Rs 1,240.89 crore, profit after tax Rs 42 crore and EPS Rs 3.36, against Rs 1,007.95 crore, Rs 45.65 crore and Rs 3.83 a year ago.
As an internal consolidation with no new shares or cash payment, the merger mainly simplifies structure and cuts compliance costs. Approval risk remains; the near-term earnings impact is limited.
