Park Medi World Limited, North India's 2nd largest hospital chain, has acquired 100% shareholding of Krishna Super-speciality Hospital in Bathinda, Punjab for ₹40 crore in an all-cash deal. The 250-bed hospital (including 70 ICU beds) operates across super-specialties like Cardiac Sciences, Neurosciences, Oncology, and Orthopaedics. Park has already been managing the hospital's operations since July 2025, and is now taking full ownership. The target's revenue grew from nil in FY23 to ₹7.73 crore in FY24 and ₹16 crore in FY25. The deal is not a related-party transaction and was completed on January 5, 2026. With this addition, Park Group moves closer to its target of 5,260 total beds by March 2028.
Positive for shareholders — the acquisition adds a revenue-generating, growing asset to Park's network at a reasonable ₹40 crore price, supports the company's stated expansion roadmap, and should contribute to top-line growth going forward.
