Pasupati Acrylon Limited has approved a 33% capacity expansion of its ethanol plant located at Thakurdwara, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh). The plant capacity will increase from 180 KL per day to 240 KL per day through debottlenecking, which means optimizing the existing infrastructure rather than building new facilities. The investment required is approximately Rs. 25 crore, to be funded through internal accruals. The expansion is expected to be completed by December 2026. Currently, the plant is operating at 100% capacity utilization subject to allocation orders from Oil Marketing Companies.
This expansion signals positive momentum for the company, leveraging existing infrastructure at relatively low capital cost while meeting full capacity demand. The 33% capacity boost could meaningfully improve revenue potential without significant debt burden, as it is self-funded through internal accruals.
