On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.1 pts more than its Edible Oil peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Patanjali Foods has invested Rs 5 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary Contemporary Agro Private Limited (CAPL) by subscribing to 50 lakh Zero Percent Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 10 each through a rights issue. CAPL, incorporated in April 2024, operates in farming, agriculture and plantation with NIL turnover in FY26. Since CAPL was already a 100 percent wholly-owned subsidiary, the company's shareholding percentage remains unchanged after this investment.
Routine capital infusion into existing wholly-owned subsidiary; no ownership change and no direct material impact on shareholders.
