PDS Limited will sell its remaining 49% stake in associate DBS Lifestyle India to the Suri family and DBS Lifestyle for Rs 9.17 crore (about USD 9.59 lakh). This is part of PDS's strategy to exit loss-making new verticals and focus on profitable growth. DBS Lifestyle contributed just 0.14 percent of consolidated turnover and had negative net worth of Rs 1.39 crore last year. Expected completion by October 31, 2026, after which Suri Overseas and Pangram Brands Global will also cease to be associates.
Minor divestment of a loss-making associate with negligible financial impact. Reinforces management focus on profitable businesses and capital discipline.
