Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) has signed a 5.5-year Regasification Services Agreement with Performance Chemiserve Limited (PCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL). Under the deal, PLL will regasify around 25.6 TBTUs of LNG annually at its Dahej terminal, with the contract running from mid-2026 to December 2031. The agreement is valued at approximately Rs. 1,200 crore, with potential for an additional 20% upside in revenue over the contract period. The regasified gas will primarily feed DFPCL group's manufacturing units at Taloja. This is a domestic, non-related-party contract and further strengthens Dahej terminal's long-term utilisation.
Positive for visibility on Dahej terminal utilisation and long-term revenue, though the contract size (about 2-3% of FY25 turnover of ~Rs. 51,000 crore) is incremental rather than transformative. Investors should view this as steady, long-term business confirmation rather than a major re-rating trigger.
