PI Industries Limited's Board Meeting on May 19, 2026 approved multiple management changes. Mr. Rajnish Sarna resigned as Joint Managing Director citing health recovery reasons, but will continue as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. Mr. Arvind Singhal opted not to seek re-appointment at the AGM and will retire. Dr. Marco Busch was designated as Senior Management Personnel, and Dr. Atul Kumar Gupta was appointed as Additional Director and Whole-time Director for 3 years. For FY2026, standalone revenue from operations stood at Rs 61,827 million (down from Rs 75,712 million YoY), with profit after tax at Rs 14,348 million. An exceptional item of Rs 1,100 million was recognized for impairment of investment in PI Health Sciences Ltd. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 per share, taking total dividend for FY26 to Rs 15 per share.
The resignation of Mr. Rajnish Sarna from an executive role may create near-term uncertainty, though his continued association as Non-Executive Director provides some stability. The appointment of Dr. Atul Kumar Gupta as Whole-time Director strengthens leadership in the Custom Synthesis & Manufacturing business. The financial results show revenue decline YoY due to sector headwinds, though profitability remains strong with robust dividend payouts.
